Historic Old Northeast

Step into the neighborhood of Old Northeast and you’ll instantly fall for the picket fences and lush greenery that bends over its brick streets. This St. Petersburg gem is a quaint residential area in Tampa Bay, known for its block parties and closeness to Downtown.

Contrary to its historic, tropical vibe, Old Northeast features many different home styles. From Colonial revival to the Mediterranean, Craftsman-style bungalows to modern, there’s something for year-round residents and snowbirds alike.

Old Northeast is home to a handful of great parks on and near the water. Well-known Vinoy Park is a prime destination for seasonal festivals and community events, while Northshore and Coffee Pot parks are the top choices for locals. Joggers, bikers and dog walkers especially enjoy the scenic routes in Old Northeast, including runs along Coffee Pot Bayou near St. Petersburg’s Snell Isle.
